Explore the Inauguration and Presidency
One of my favorite subjects to teach is U.S. history, especially the Constitution and electing a President.  During the presidential election years it's even more exciting to teach all the processes involved and watch them unfold before my students' eyes. Then when the President of the United States is inaugurated in January, that event is incredibly meaningful as students actually see the Constitution in action.  I've found some resources that cover many topics and aspects of the inauguration, including resources for teaching ESL students, inaugural addresses of the past Presidents, lesson plans, quizzes and many other helpful tools when teaching about this important historical event.
