Weekly Pinterest roundup: Five Halloween Pinterest boards on this Freaky Friday

Posted on October 25, 2013 by Rebecca Hagerman

Pinterest is a great place to look for ideas and inspiration. From home décor and DIY crafts, to home design and wardrobe inspiration; Pinterest has just about anything you can think of. It seems there’s a pin or a board for every subject you could ever imagine!  But did you also know you can find great ideas for the classroom and teaching?

Doing a simple search in Pinterest is one way to look for things specifically. But I tend to gravitate toward the “Home Feed” and “Popular” feeds to get a great variety of topics. The “Popular” feed usually has a wide range of images and I almost always find something visually intriguing, thought-provoking or funny. The home feed usually contains topics I’m interested in and pins by people I follow, like my friends, family and co-workers.

If you’re a teacher, Pinterest provides so many possibilities – like classroom setup ideas, lesson plans (freebies or for a cost,) and holiday-themed everything!

Check out a few of the Pinterest boards I've found with great ideas for making Halloween fun in your classroom or with your kids.
