More art resources now available for browsing

There are tons of resources available in the visual arts category. I’ve listed a variety of art resources for different classroom levels offering art history, coloring pages, architecture lesson plans and creative projects. These resources are proof visual arts can help engage students in all aspects of learning.

A. Pintura: Art Detective
Use critical thinking to solve a crime -- using art, of course. This is a great way to create other lessons as well.

Activity Village
British site with newsletter, holiday art, printables, crafts and a whole lot more – it’s diverse, with the emphasis on younger folk.

An interactive site that offers a basic understanding of building and materials

Highly interactive site – it’s a good attention holder for primary students.

Art History Resources on the Web
This large link site includes a nice index with museums, ancient art, modern art and more. It takes a while, but it’s worth it to find unusual resources.

This site is for art teachers; it includes ask the teacher, exchanges, art lessons and more.

ArtLex Art Dictionary
You'll find definitions for more than 3,600 terms used in discussing art / visual culture, along with thousands of supporting images, pronunciation notes, great quotations and cross-references. An art dictionary for older students.
